A fun project to reimagine an updated brand image for the Denver Broncos. Honoring elements of the past while advancing the design into the current with a bold yet timeless aesthetic.
Dating back to the golden era of John Elway, I have been a Denver Broncos fan. I've even had the chance to attend a few games at Mile High, including Peyton Manning's appearance in a Broncos uniform. Cheering on your favorite team alongside family and friends is always a blast. One thing I have to admit, I feel the logo is overdue for a revision.
The sillouette of the bronco is a stylized version from a picture I took from inside the Mile High the first time I was there. Having the iconic rearing horse poised for action not only fits the context but is matched by the statue atop the staduim.
I also always enjoyed the throwback design, and wanted to incorporate a version of it into the logo variations.
Mockups help to envision final implementation of the branding.
The high contrast complimentary blue and orange with a matte finish for a bold yet polished look.
This was a fun project that garnered a ton of responses and appreciations after posting on Behance.
